I am Mrs Caine and I am very lucky to be Headteacher of Thornley Academy. On behalf of all the children, staff and governors I welcome you to our school!

Inclusion is key and every person is warmly welcomed, supported and celebrated at our school. All staff genuinely puts each child first and foremost and explores ways to enable each child’s needs to be met.

We are passionate about learning and strive to ensure a love of learning in an engaging, enjoyable and inspiring atmosphere. We have high expectations of exemplary behaviour and courtesy.
